DANNY DE HEK
Scammers rely on silence. We make noise.
Welcome to the Avengers Anti-Fraud Alliance, led by Danny de Hek, a New Zealand investigative journalist whose work exposing scams, Ponzi schemes, MLMs and financial fraud has been featured by The New York Times, Bloomberg, The Guardian, ABC Australia, RNZ and others.
This podcast takes you inside real investigations.
We follow the money, identify the people behind fraudulent operations, examine corporate records, court documents, blockchain transactions, marketing material, leaked communications and digital evidence — then put what we find into the public record.
Some investigations begin with a victim contacting me. Others start with an anonymous tip, a suspicious Zoom meeting, a cryptocurrency wallet, a court filing, or an Avenger somewhere in the world saying: “Danny, you need to look at this.”
The Avengers Anti-Fraud Alliance brings together researchers, whistleblowers, victims and ordinary people who are tired of watching scammers operate without scrutiny.
Patreon helps fund that work and gives supporters a closer look behind the investigations — including updates, evidence, developing stories and material that doesn't always fit into a YouTube video.
I don't accept payment to remove investigations. I don't sell reputation management. And when someone I investigate disagrees with my reporting, I give them the opportunity to respond.
The objective is simple:
Investigate. Analyse. Expose. Protect.
If you're a victim, whistleblower or you've discovered something that deserves investigating, get in touch.
Scams thrive in darkness. The Avengers turn on the lights.

Christopher Delgado Ponzi Scheme
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
(Verse 1)
Well Christopher rolled in with a billionaire grin
Talked about freedom while the walls closed in
“Private equity magic, generational wealth”
Meanwhile grandma’s crying talking to herself
It spread through barbeques and family chats
“Mate, this guy’s legit” — all built on that
Friends recruiting friends at the local café
Till the withdrawals stopped and the smiles faded away
People sold cars
People took loans
People trusted voices they’d already known
Communities fractured from the pressure and lies
All because somebody promised the skies
(Pre-Chorus)
Every red flag got painted gold
Every hard question never got told
They called it “vision”
They called it “faith”
But victims got punched right in the face
(Chorus)
Hey hey Goliath fell hard
Built a paper castle in a millionaire yard
CoffeeZilla lit the fuse online
Danny de Hek brought receipts every time
Hey hey the truth broke through
Channel 9 forgot what journalists do
While victims cried and promoters danced
Real reporting finally had a chance
(Verse 2)
There were pension funds and retirement dreams
Luxury dinners and marketing schemes
Photos online with the watches and cars
Convincing good people they’d finally gone far
Some worked overtime all their lives
Trying to provide for their kids and wives
Then one slick pitch and a trusted mate
Helped walk them right through the gate
Some lost marriages
Some lost sleep
Some lost money they were trying to keep
Single mums praying bills get paid
While promoters shouted “don’t be afraid!”
(New Verse)
Private jets and White House halls
Flexing like he conquered all
Photos smiling next to power and fame
While ordinary people carried the shame
Shaking hands just building clout
While families wondered how they’d get out
Kash Patel standing there in frame
Mike Johnson caught up in the game
Not saying they knew what was going down
But Chris sure loved parading round
Like proximity to power somehow meant truth
That’s how these schemes recruit
(Pre-Chorus)
Every red flag got painted gold
Every warning sign ignored or sold
They called it “legacy”
They called it “hope”
Till victims were left trying to cope
(Chorus)
Hey hey Goliath fell hard
Built a paper castle in a millionaire yard
CoffeeZilla showed the world the game
Danny de Hek kept naming names
Hey hey the spell got broke
Turns out Lamborghinis don’t make you woke
And every “mentor” selling dreams
Ain’t always richer than they seem
(Bridge)
And Danny said:
“Hang on mate… this smells wrong.”
Started digging deep all night long
Court filings, whistleblowers, hidden trails
While promoters panicked deleting mails
Then CoffeeZilla hit the screen
Showed the world what journalism means
Not polished fluff or paid PR spin
But asking where the money’s been
And still today some names walk free
Co-conspirators hiding comfortably
While victims wonder every night
Will anyone else be held to account for this fight?
(New Verse)
Now the websites change and the stories shift
Some promoters act like memory’s drift
“Wasn’t me mate, I just shared a link”
Funny how fast these heroes shrink
Some still posting motivational quotes
While victims can barely stay afloat
No apologies
No real remorse
Just another rebrand changing course
(Spoken Word Section – slow dramatic voice)
“This is how these schemes survive…
Not through technology.
Not through genius investing.
But through trust.
A friend tells a friend.
A family member says it changed their life.
A leader says ‘don’t miss out.’
And before people realise what happened…
The money’s gone.
The friendships are broken.
And the people at the top move on to the next opportunity.”
(Funny Breakdown Section)
“It’s temporary liquidity!”
— mate the cash is gone
“It’s just fear online!”
— then why’d the website run?
“Trust the leadership!”
— heard that one before
Funny how the rich guys vanished
Right before the court
(Crowd Chant Section)
NO SCAM!
NO LIES!
NO MORE FAKE PRIVATE JETS AND SUITS AND TIES!
NO SCAM!
NO HYPE!
STOP SELLING DREAMS TO RUIN PEOPLE’S LIVES!
(Final Chorus)
Hey hey Goliath fell hard
Built a paper castle in a millionaire yard
CoffeeZilla showed the world the game
Danny de Hek kept naming names
Hey hey the masks came down
Fake kings losing fake gold crowns
And every victim left behind
Deserved the truth the whole damn time
(Outro)
Ponzi schemes don’t just steal your pay
They steal your trust little bit by day
Families fractured
Communities burned
Expensive lessons painfully learned
So if some guru says “get rich quick”
Take a deep breath before you click
Because behind the hype and private jets
Are ordinary people drowning in debt
And somewhere online with an orange shirt on
Danny’s still yelling:
“NO SCAM!” till dawn.
