DANNY DE HEK
Scammers rely on silence. We make noise.
Welcome to the Avengers Anti-Fraud Alliance, led by Danny de Hek, a New Zealand investigative journalist whose work exposing scams, Ponzi schemes, MLMs and financial fraud has been featured by The New York Times, Bloomberg, The Guardian, ABC Australia, RNZ and others.
This podcast takes you inside real investigations.
We follow the money, identify the people behind fraudulent operations, examine corporate records, court documents, blockchain transactions, marketing material, leaked communications and digital evidence — then put what we find into the public record.
Some investigations begin with a victim contacting me. Others start with an anonymous tip, a suspicious Zoom meeting, a cryptocurrency wallet, a court filing, or an Avenger somewhere in the world saying: “Danny, you need to look at this.”
The Avengers Anti-Fraud Alliance brings together researchers, whistleblowers, victims and ordinary people who are tired of watching scammers operate without scrutiny.
Patreon helps fund that work and gives supporters a closer look behind the investigations — including updates, evidence, developing stories and material that doesn't always fit into a YouTube video.
I don't accept payment to remove investigations. I don't sell reputation management. And when someone I investigate disagrees with my reporting, I give them the opportunity to respond.
The objective is simple:
Investigate. Analyse. Expose. Protect.
If you're a victim, whistleblower or you've discovered something that deserves investigating, get in touch.
Scams thrive in darkness. The Avengers turn on the lights.

Travorium''s Three To Profitability
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Verse 1
They said pack your bags, we're heading to Rome
Luxury villas and a second home
A better life, a better way
Just sign up today and you'll be okay
They showed me beaches, yachts and pools
Told me Warren Buffett wrote the rules
"Make money while you sleep," they said with a grin
But first recruit three people to get in
Pre-Chorus
I came for travel, sunshine and fun
But somehow ended up chasing everyone
I wanted holidays, cocktails and sea
Now I'm messaging strangers at half past three
Chorus
Three to profitability
That's the secret they sold to me
I booked a trip but spent the whole flight
Recruiting passengers left and right
Three to profitability
Living the dream supposedly
I came for travel across the globe
Now I'm pitching memberships from my hotel robe
Verse 2
The Ambassador lifestyle looked so sweet
Luxury resorts and a front-row seat
Rolex watches, bonus pools
Recognition events and leadership tools
But then I found the income sheet
The numbers made me leave my seat
Eighty-eight percent earned nothing at all
Yet everybody's standing ten feet tall
Pre-Chorus
The slides kept climbing higher and higher
Chairman, Executive Chairman desire
Ninety-six grand every month they say
If you can build an army along the way
Chorus
Three to profitability
That's the secret they sold to me
I booked a cruise but spent all night
Explaining the comp plan by candlelight
Three to profitability
Living the dream supposedly
I wanted sunsets over the bay
Instead I'm recruiting on holiday
Bridge
I met a guy named Isaac on Zoom
Talking so fast he could light up a room
Every question had the same reply
"You just don't like MLMs" was why
Maybe the travel savings are real
Maybe some people close the deal
But one question follows wherever I roam
Would this survive if recruiting went home?
Final Chorus
Three to profitability
Still sounds funny now to me
Travel the world, that's what they claim
But recruiting seems to be the main game
Three to profitability
A travel club or opportunity?
The beaches are nice, the photos look great
But somebody's got to fill the next rank's slate
Outro
I finally made it to paradise shore
Phone in my hand recruiting some more
The ocean was blue, the weather was calm
I spent my whole holiday building a downline. 🎵
