DANNY DE HEK
Scammers rely on silence. We make noise.
Welcome to the Avengers Anti-Fraud Alliance, led by Danny de Hek, a New Zealand investigative journalist whose work exposing scams, Ponzi schemes, MLMs and financial fraud has been featured by The New York Times, Bloomberg, The Guardian, ABC Australia, RNZ and others.
This podcast takes you inside real investigations.
We follow the money, identify the people behind fraudulent operations, examine corporate records, court documents, blockchain transactions, marketing material, leaked communications and digital evidence — then put what we find into the public record.
Some investigations begin with a victim contacting me. Others start with an anonymous tip, a suspicious Zoom meeting, a cryptocurrency wallet, a court filing, or an Avenger somewhere in the world saying: “Danny, you need to look at this.”
The Avengers Anti-Fraud Alliance brings together researchers, whistleblowers, victims and ordinary people who are tired of watching scammers operate without scrutiny.
Patreon helps fund that work and gives supporters a closer look behind the investigations — including updates, evidence, developing stories and material that doesn't always fit into a YouTube video.
I don't accept payment to remove investigations. I don't sell reputation management. And when someone I investigate disagrees with my reporting, I give them the opportunity to respond.
The objective is simple:
Investigate. Analyse. Expose. Protect.
If you're a victim, whistleblower or you've discovered something that deserves investigating, get in touch.
Scams thrive in darkness. The Avengers turn on the lights.

Verse 1
She said she'd walked through fire,
She knew what loss could do.
She spoke about redemption,
Like she'd lived the whole thing through.
She promised hope for broken hearts,
A safer road ahead.
But then another platform came,
With familiar words instead.
Pre-Chorus
I've heard this story way too many times,
Different faces, different logos, same old lines.
Chorus
You can't outrun a Ponzi,
You can't beat the crash.
There's no magic strategy
To grab your money fast.
If somebody tells you,
"Get in early, then get out,"
You're not escaping danger,
You're helping spread it round.
That's not investing.
That's not how wealth is made.
If your profit needs new victims,
You're standing in a scam parade.
Verse 2
Copy trading, trading signals,
Referral bonuses too.
The marketing looks polished,
But the questions still break through.
Who owns the company?
Who's accountable today?
Why hide behind the curtain,
When investors have to pay?
The blockchain leaves its footprints,
Every wallet tells a tale.
Promises sound wonderful,
But evidence prevails.
Pre-Chorus
I've followed wallets,
I've followed every lead.
Facts don't disappear,
Just because they don't fit the feed.
Chorus
You can't outrun a Ponzi,
You can't beat the crash.
There's no magic strategy
To grab your money fast.
If somebody tells you,
"Get in early, then get out,"
You're not escaping danger,
You're helping spread it round.
That's not investing.
That's not how wealth is made.
If your profit needs new victims,
You're standing in a scam parade.
Bridge
The hardship story may be real.
The pain may be sincere.
But personal testimony
Doesn't answer why we're here.
The questions still remain today.
Simple questions anyone should face.
Who's Ron?
Who's Robert?
Who's really running QVI?
If it's built on transparency,
Why is transparency so hard to see?
Final Chorus
I've seen BG.
I've seen PO.
I've watched these stories come and go.
New colours.
New branding.
The same old sales routine.
Before you trust another promise,
Look behind the screen.
Read the evidence.
Follow the chain.
Ask the questions once again.
Until the answers finally come,
The warning lights stay on.
And while we're still waiting
For Ron...
And Robert...
To answer the right of reply...
The blockchain keeps talking,
Even when the promoters don't.

Led by New Zealand investigative journalist Danny de Hek, the Avengers help uncover information, connect victims, analyse evidence and expose schemes that deserve public scrutiny.
